This process will take about four hours to complete. Then the liquefied foods will move on to the large intestines where the body will absorb the residues. This will take about 12 hours. The last stage is the elimination of undigested foods (waste). All these processes consume calorie and depending on how much your body uses the calories, you have a chance to be less obese.
The diet consists of fruits and vegetables. They are rich with enzymes which can speed up the metabolism and fiber which requires a higher volume of calories for the digestive process. Since these foods require more calorie than what they can provide during the digestion, your body will burn more calorie which result in weight loss.
You can plan this diet for a week. Make a large pot of soup using foods that have negative caloric effect. Make sure you have enough for the whole week because this is the only food you are feeding to your body and nothing else. During this time, you are not allowed to eat other foods. Whether it is true or not, some suggest that eating more can help you to lose more weight. I can’t give you an answer. You have to experiment it on yourself. You have remember that not everybody will burn the same amount of calorie when they are on this diet.
The drawback of this diet is that we don’t know exactly how much energy is used in digesting specific foods. It all depends on personal results. For your case, you should monitor your weight everyday to see if there is any drop in your weight. If you experience no weight loss, then maybe you should increase the consumption and do some exercise since workout will burn some calories.
Before you start this negative calorie diet plan, make sure you consult your doctor. Sometimes obesity can be related to other underlying health problems. Now not all doctors are in favor of this meal plan. The reason why you need to check with them is that you want to make sure that your health are in good condition. This diet does not provide any protein and fats. If your body cannot function properly without them when you are on this diet, then you are endangering your life.
